Today the people of Costa Rica take great pride in the care and husbandry of their horses, which are the descendants of those originally brought by the conquistadors.

You can enjoy a trek through mountains, valleys and along the beach on these sturdy animals.

THE WATERFALLS

This tour takes you through the forests of the mountains where you'll experience the diversity of flora and fauna in a dry tropical forest. The trail ends at three beautiful waterfalls, the first one a sulphur spring, the second one forms a small slide of natural water where you can swim and the third one is the biggest all and will amaze you with the gallons of water that thunder into the pool below. Horses will be matched to the rider's skill level and a quick lesson in horsemanship will be given before you start. Safety equipment is provided and tour guides accompany you the whole way.

THE BEACH

Take a leisurely ride through the sands and shallows along one of Costa Rica's many beaches. Go for a gallop along a smooth stretch with the sea breeze at your back. Ride into the waves to cool off both you and your horse. Watch the sunset before heading back for a refeshing cocktail.
